Côte d'Azur & the Alpes Maritimes
There are many reasons why so many pro' riders, such as Chris Froome, are based on the Côte d'Azur. Firstly, it is fabulously beautiful and wonderfully chic, but it also offers world-class climbing within a very short distance from the crowded coast. The pro's are often out on the famous cols, such as Col de la Madone, the Col de Vence, and the Col d'Eze.
We would love to help a group explore the area maybe using the same 4-day long weekend model that we have developed for Mont Ventoux, the Alps and the Pyrenees. Drop your bikes and bags with us in the UK the day before you travel; fly down on a Friday morning to Marseille, where we meet you with your bikes and bags, so you are riding by lunchtime; ride for half of Friday, and as much of Saturday and Sunday as you want, and then ride back toward the airport on Monday for an evening flight; fly home while we bring your gear back to deliver back to you the next day.
We only use carefully selected accommodation to suit your budget from where the great riding can be easily accessed.
The trip could be timed to include the Paris-Nice Challenge cyclo-sportive which takes place before before the Paris-Nice race in the Spring.
